Location

Start to learn Spanish with our beginners Spanish classes. Learn in our online classrooms with our friendly tutors, supported by our website programme that takes you step-by-step through the most basic level.

No experience is necessary to start this course, as all our tutors have experience of teaching complete beginners in an online environment. There are no pass marks or exams, just a friendly environment for you to discover and learn the Spanish language.

Running for 12 weeks, commencing 19 April, all lessons are delivered via Zoom by a qualified teacher. This, combined with the online homework exercises, will take you through the complete Level A1.

What you will learn

In our beginners Spanish classes we cover the basics of the Spanish language: saying hello, introducing yourself, times of day, days of the week, months of the year, seasons as well as common situations like visiting a shop, restaurants, booking travel tickets and other basic transactions.

If you have learned a little Spanish before, you may recognise some of the grammar when it comes up, chiefly ser, estar and haber (hay), the present tense, personal pronouns, possession and more.

By the end of this course, you’ll feel more confident on holiday or travelling in a Spanish-speaking country.

Enhance your experience with our online materials

As a fully online school, we have a website full of materials, practice tests and exercises to help you learn faster. For example, many schools leave you to learn vocabulary by yourself. We have a whole range of visual lessons and quizzes that you can access between classes to boost your learning.

We can also help you memorise those pesky verbs with our “boot camp” module. It sounds tough, but it’ll save you writing out index cards!
